I just noticed that our neighbours virgin media cable runs across the front of our property and is very visible.

There is even a yellow tag on the neighbours cable showing their street address !

Obviously I am shocked somebody without permission entered our property/land to add this line ( and very shoddy work ! ) making holes to our house and leave such an eyesore.

Any advice how to get this rectified/resolved ?

Hello Martin,

I have no idea about the services for the neighbour.

My property had a big yellow skip in it for about a year during refurbs.

This extra cabling was only possible to view when the skip left.

Right I see. Do you know if there is a Virgin Media box on the property?

It looks as if the neighbour's service was temporarily installed by splitting your cable and running one leg across the front walls to their omni box. It does now seem as if they've got their dedicated cable but the temporary cable has not been disconnected.

I am not happy as there should have been prior Access Agreement / WayLeave.

When will this line be removed and everything made good ?

If these are the cables from the original installation of your service we wouldn't remove these. If there are additional wires due to the temporary fix for your neighbor we can arrange this to be removed.
