Microsoft PHishing/scam message

Just had an e-mail from Microsoft security saying unusual activity on my outlook account.

gave full details of the supposed hacker in holland.

ITSA SCAM/PHISHING TRY.  do not click any links and report phishing and delete.

Was a very good try, but they made a glaring mistake, which I won't divulge in case they correct it.

Re: Microsoft PHishing/scam message

What is the link to Virgin Media, given the support forum you have posted on?

Have you added a VM email address to your Outlook account?  Did you know that the VM webmail servers are located in Holland?

Re: Microsoft PHishing/scam message

Nope, I am aware of where  VM servers are. I do not have an e-mail account with VM, their website is funky enough, I wouldn't trust their email account to be reliable.

I have been in touch with Microsoft support and they confirm its a scam. Plus the scammer's address is Czech. the adverts changed  language.

thanks for answer tho
