Keeping Virgin Media Box

We want to keep broadband but, cancel TV package. We would like to keep the virginmedia box to record freeview channels

Can we do this? If so who do we contact? The phone options do not always fit what you want to ask.

I believe we are not in contract, it is rolling.

Thank You for your help

Re: Keeping Virgin Media Box

Its not possible, once the TV service is removed the box won't function.

It also remains the property of VM.

Re: Keeping Virgin Media Box

Hi wez is right, if it's a V6 or a TiVo it will need to be returned to Virgin so you may need to request a return package.Regards Micky

Re: Keeping Virgin Media Box

Take a look on ebay if you don't want to pay for a new box, but there are some great Freeview boxes for sale. We got one that records 3 ch while watching a 4th and it cost us £30.
