Anyone had this problem ? Virgin media cancel installation month after month. None of the advisors in India know what they are doing and give wrong information. I cannot seem to get through to a uk advisor

If you are waiting for a (delayed) VM installation then, unfortunately, there is no one in the UK, India or anywhere else in the world who is likely to be able to speed up the process.

Have a look through the many topics about this on the 'Quick Start' forum and you will get an understanding on why the delays happen for some unlucky customers.

When you speak to VM, the person answering the call will 'guarantee' you that the installation will happen on the next scheduled day but they are doing nothing more than reading a date from the screen in front of them. They have no idea when/if the installation will happen and have no means of influencing the process.

You should be entitled to compensation for an installation delay.

and it will help if you keep detailed records of all events and comm's with VM to ensure you are paid correctly. Particularly important is capturing a record of the activation date initially confirmed in writing when you first placed your order as that is when any compensation should apply from.
