not sure what a score of 86 means, but would assume that it gave you some other information (i.e. that it was good/bad/suspicious?)

Well I can get eBay in modem mode but when I switch back I get access denied it states.

You don't have permission to access "http://www.ebay.uk/" on this server.

I have spoken to eBay customer service and it's not a problem at there end

Don't see what the problem is here, apart from the above link being wrong.  Just tried it in Edge and it redirects to https://www.ebay.co.uk/.

Well eBay gave the reference fault number stating that you could not access the server

Ref#18.f4884917.1620338517.3dbf9a9

I wonder when you were in touch if you quoted the fault number and requested an explanation?

I use Firefox, and it takes several clicks to get through with the http link, and then it's the https page that shows

this is what I getScreenshot_20210507_212958_com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.jpg

It's looking like the IP number you've got has been blacklisted, it might require one of the forum team to look into it further

with a view to replacing it with another number.

the only action a forum staffer can take to do this would be to issue a new hub.  Whilst that will help, it may only be temporary. If the reason for the poor reputation is something that OP has done, or a result of malware on the network, for example, then it's only a matter of time before the "new" IP address will have the same restrictions placed on it.

@OP I'm surprised that you're unable to access akamai's site directly to check the reputation score / contact them to request a review - seems like an obvious flaw in the system ;/ you may have to contact them via their community forums. they should be able to expand on the reasons for the block. you will (presumably) have to use a different IP address to post there (either a VPN or a mobile hotspot i guess..)

I think you may be right about a new IP address

Whilst a different IP address may work for a while you really need to find out why it is now being blocked.
