Access denied for ebay

I can't access eBay through virgin as I don't have permission from this server but using the  Vodafone mobile I don't have a problem

What device or equipment are you using for the Internet is it a laptop,  PC or Apple?

What platform Is it running, e.g. Windows 10 or other?

Have you tried different Internet browsers e.g. Firefox?

Is it wireless or do you have it connected to the HUB with a cable?

Are you using a VPN?

Are you using a third party router?

Is your NIC (Network Interface Card) set for IPv4 or IPv6?

Was it working previously and then threw up an error or was this a first attempt?

I've used a Windows 10 laptop also on my phone using the virgin broadband and both get access denied if I use a VPN I can get eBay . I am wireless and have used Google and bing.

I haven't a clue about NIC.

Sounds like ebay are blocking your IP address. You can test this yourself.

Switch your Hub to Modem mode and see if you can access ebay. The switch changes your IP address. Switch the Hub back afterwards and then run a traceroute and post the results here for us to take a look.

Google for how to do a traceroute or the MacOS equivalent.

If it is an IP block it is down to ebay to resolve not VM. It isn't a VM issue.

Well I can get eBay in modem mode but when I switch back I get access denied it states.

You don't have permission to access "http://www.ebay.uk/" on this server.

if you can access it in modem mode it means your IP is banned by ebay
