An important note about your TiVo box installation
 
Hi
 
If you've just received a new TiVo box, it might display an error message as you’re installing it. If it does, you’ll see ‘Service not found’ on your screen.
 
We’re working to fix this as quickly as we can, but in the meantime there’s a few simple steps you can take to sort things yourself:
 
  1. Turn off your TiVo box using the switch on the back
  2. Hold down the ‘TV’, the ‘Down’ arrow and ‘Record’ buttons on the front panel of the box (not the remote)
  3. While keeping these buttons pressed, switch the power back on and keep the buttons pressed for another 5 seconds 
  4. After 5 seconds, a blue light should light up at the far right of the box – this means you can let go of the buttons
  5. The box should boot up normally after about 15 minutes
 
We know there’s every chance you’ll need an extra pair of hands to help you with the button presses, but this should get everything up and running for you.
