Stream

Hi, I currently have TV, Broadband and Home Phone, along with O2 mobiles. 
i’m looking to take out a Stream box to use upstairs but the self serve site doesn’t seem to support adding one. 
anyone any advice?

    You should be able to add a Stream or Flex box if you do not already have a 360 multiroom box on the account. Flex boxes cannot be mixed with 360 mini boxes.So it may be the case that you cannot add the box online & will have to go through an agent.

      I have just the one 360 box downstairs and was originally going to look into another box upstairs however a VM engineer suggested stream as no need for wires/work

        Keep hearing that VM's engineers are saying this, maybe they know something upcoming but not available yet.

        The advice posted above should be correct, if you want a second box it will have to be a mini box that needs a coax connection for live TV.

         

  • So an update; somebody at VM agreed to order a stream box, as a secondary device then advised that a system issue prevented it. They then referred me to the retention team who also could not acrion this. 
    We are now in a stalemate of not being able to have 360’or Stream upstairs with no attempt from VM to find a solution.

      We aim to response when we can but the forums isn't an instant response sorry. 

      Normally with this box it needs to be added by you, from your online account.

      Can you make sure pop ups are allowed and see if it will let you from here 

      Also I can see you've spoke to the team since this post, did they help any further?

        @Matthew_ML thanks for coming back to me. Enabling pop ups sadly made no difference. Yes I have spoken to VM again and am still no further. Retention refer me to customer support who refer me back to retention.

        it’s becoming incredibly frustrating now. An agent did suggest that my current TV package was the issue but couldn’t confirm whether changing to another package would then resolve the flex issue. 
        sadly nobody will take any ownership of this.
