tonewheelkev Sorry that link hasn't helped. Can you explain what actual error messages you get when you try and access your virgin email address via the webmail portal at https://mail.virginmedia.com/
Can you log into your My Virgin Media account for the email address concerned without issue? Do you still have a VM broadband account to which the email address concerned is attached. Previous posts that you have made imply that you were trying to close your VM broadband account. If this did happen then any associated VM email addresses should have been closed 90 days after the broadband account closure.
It is clear from posts on this forum that this didn't always happen, however, VM are now actively looking for and deleting such orphaned accounts.
One thing that I have noticed from a second read of your initial post is the reference to setting up a recovery address for your VM account. In the 20 plus years that I have been a VM customer I have never known them to offer such a facility, unless you are referring to the requirement introduced last year to set a third party username.
