Temporarily blacklisted IP Address - try again later

Hi,

I have a blueyonder email address. However I can't currently send/receive email through any email client or device (iphone/ipad). However I can access my email through a browser. This is the error I get with Apple Mail on a Mac:

Temporarily blacklisted IP Address - try again later

No errors seen on the devices, just the ability to send/recieve email gone.

Any help gratefully received.

    Welcome back to our Community Forums and thanks for your post. 

    I am sorry to hear you are getting the error that your IP is blacklisted.

    Please can you check which blacklist you are on?

    It'll likely be one of these three.
     

    •    Spamhaus ZEN

    •    SORBS DUHL

    •    Protected Sky

     

    You can check this by using this blacklist checker tool, which is linked on our website.

    If you are on one of them, you will then need to resolve any security issues on your devices. You will need to perform virus and security scans using your choice of security software, and once they're no longer triggering the spam systems the IP address will be removed from the blacklist.


    If you're  not on one of the above blacklists or the issue remains after performing the necessary checks on your device(s), head to https://netreport.virginmedia.com/netreport/ and complete the relevant form which can be found by selecting "Email Sending Errors" from the dropdown menu.
