emails blocked?

I have noticed that I have had no spam filtered emails for 5 days; except the email to reset my password for this webpage has just gone into spam.  I had been expecting an email from PictureHouse cinema booking which never arrived and checked my spam and realised that there had been no spam emails for days.  Usually there are at least 20 per day. Anyone else having similar problems?  I have a blueyonder email address which I only use for some things I have had in place for years.  I am worried that I may lose key important emails, such as flight bookings.

    As this is in relation to not receiving spam emails, are you still getting emails as normal to your inbox? 

    Apart from the PictureHouse cinema booking email, has there been any other emails you're expecting but not gotten?

      I am getting emails to my inbox and now some (but not many) are coming into spam.  How can I know if the virginmedia system is filtering out completely some emails if I am missing any.  I am not aware at the moment of missing any emails, but if I don't receive them I will never know. I am flagging on this forum that there is a problem if virginmedia is filtering out completely and not going into spam folder. The platform is unreliable if it is deleting or blocking emails before the customer sees them. I had a problem last year that I could not use the blueyonder email with Sefton Council as the authentication email set up was blocked and never arrived.  As much as possible I have moved away from using the blueyonder email but there are some historical accounts that are in place that still use it.

        With regards to the Picture House cinema, we can only recommend you contact them directly please to ensure this was sent to the correct email/ask them to resend if you haven't done so already. Not receiving as many spam emails as usual wouldn't necessarily suggest there is an issue with the service, especially as you are continuing to receive emails to your inbox. 

        There unfortunately isn't much more we can advise regarding this from the information provided.

  • Yes I am receiving mail into inbox. But I did not receive an email expected from Picturehouse films.  I looked in my spam/junk folder to see if this email was there and realised that I had no emails in junk for several days.  I usually find that many important emails end up in the junk folder and check it regularly. I usually get approximately 20 emails per day in junk, but I only had one email yesterday and one today in junk.   I know there should be others as I also have another email address that gets emails that also go to my blueyonder email.  I checked using webmail and it was the same. I am not getting emails in my inbox that should go to junk. I am worried that I may loose important emails.

      Thanks for confirming. Are you seeing the same issue on both Webmail and other log in methods?

      Have you also been able to try logging out then back in to see if this helps? Are you also seeing this on all devices?

        Same on all devices, webmail and apple email. Yes logged in and out several times.

    Are you receiving any mails at all? Are you seeing emails that should be flagged as spam in your inbox?
