Thanks, websites load fine. I'm going to restart the router tomorrow to see if that helps. If not I'll follow you're suggestion above. Thanks for all your help!
FYI @coenoby it looks like the wifi router reset this morning has sorted the issue out. Email content loads fine on both Android devices. I can't be 100% sure the reset is the fix but it was a problem yesterday and now fine after the VM hub4 was reset. I think I read somewhere that it's good practise to reset the VM hub occasionally?

That's good news, thanks for the update.

Several emails later I'm now sure the Hub4 reset did the trick. I now find that any issues I have with TV360 boxes, Wi-Fi and Broadband the first option is to reset the Hub4. Just didn't occur to me it may be responsible for this issue as my Son has had no problems with his android device on the same Wi-Fi network.

A few final thoughts.
1) It would be worthwhile clearing the email app's cache to see if it makes a difference,
I don't have a samsung phone but if you go to the App Manager, / Manage apps setting. Then select the "Email " app and take the option to clear cache. Some apps have a "Clear data" option and once you have selected that you get a "Clear Cache " option.
2) Bear in mind that an email with a large attachment will take longer to download than a simple email with just text in the body of the email.
3) I still think it would be worthwhile trying another email app to see if that performs any better. There is no harm in having 2 email apps on your phone at the same time. As I said earlier, I currently have K9 and the Gmail app on my phone.
