When I send an email (blueyonder) my name is displayed instead of the recipient.
In a previous post you have said that you use Outlook to manage your emails. So the big question is are you seeing this incorrect display in Outlook or in your VM webmail account?
If it's happening in Outlook you could take a look here and see if it helps:

This is not happening in outlook, just in the web mail. However I use web mail for my phone so its a nuisance. Its easy to change the displayed columns in outlook but I can't see how to do it on the virgin web display. Suggestions?

Hi Sdu60 👋 Welcome back! Thanks for posting, to let us know your concerns about how your email username is displayed.
We'd just like to clarify exactly what the issue is. Are you able to check if your name is showing at the recipients end? (You can do a test by emailing yourself at another email address if possible).
It may also be worth checking your account settings to see if you have nickname or username set up instead of the email address listed.
If it's happening primarily on a mail app via your phone (for example Apple mail) we can't do anything to fix that unfortunately. It does it on my phone too - I do appreciate it's irritating when trying to work out which inbox an email is in! The way I get round it usually is by backing out to 'mailboxes' and then looking through each account inbox individually to locate the email.
Let us know, and we can continue to help. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! 🌞

Is this a question of which columns are being shown in the Sent Items listing ?
E.g. In the InBox we have "From" shown, but in the "Sent Items" we have the "To" shown.
