If you've got an open complaint that is unresolved after 8weeks, you should follow the escalation process which includes referral to the Ombudsman. Court judges will expect you to do everything possible to mitigate your losses and avoid court action unless absolutely necessary - following ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) will tick both those boxes.
Include additional costs in the Ombudsman complaint.

Thanks for the information and I’ll certainly do that when the time comes it’s just scary that there will be another 2 months bills added by then.
