UPS for HUB5

Do VM's HFC street cabinets have UPS ?
I presume the street cabinets don't have a UPS, but a UPS for the modem itself can not only maintain the connection but also protect it from any possible damage caused by power surges when power is returned or repeated on-and-off cycles when power cuts happen. Sometimes, it's not just one cut & the power returns it can be on and off multiple times right after each other, which I figure might not be good for the modem
I have all my kit on an APC UPS. Mainly because we get the occasional brown out. Otherwise we would have some kit restarting from the voltage drops.
