Router red light

Router hub 3 red light continuously on... is it safe to use?
Spent 2 hrs this morning going around in circles on the online help and the virgin helpline... and getting nowhere. Just can't get to speak to anyone... its really poor service.
I done all the things suggested turn off and on etc. It's been in the same place since it was installed, so nothing has changed to make it overheat. How do I get a replacement without spending all day going around in circles and then getting cut off.

  • Please read other peoples posts, Under Red Light. The constant red light seems to cause some people some problems and other people none. Some have a red light for 3 months. Me 1 week. Turn it off at night for safest thats what I do. Unfortunately there are a dozen different posts on here under the same subject. No one in Seniority has come to explain what's really going on. A bit disappointing.

Because the Red LED is the overheating safety feature, this needs to be working correctly.  As such the Hub should be replaced.  If you wait here a day or two a. VM Mod will pick this up and discuss directly with you.

Can I still use it or is it a fire hazard?
