Lost WiFi within 2 hrs of installation

I had a brand new 5x hub installed yesterday with the 125mb package. 2 hours of WiFi access went fine then it dropped out with a flashing red light on the hub, which has persisted since.

Have tried switching on/off, plugging in and out, factory reset etc to no avail. Rang customer service and the best they can offer is an engineer to visit on Monday. Not impressed as a new customer to Virgin.

Any ideas?

    See if there is a known local fault - call  the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.

        Log onto the Hub's admin console and check what the Status is showing?  Is it Offline?  If so, there is a cable problem and it will need an engineer to check the fibre connection.
