Internet speed slows down

Hi all, I'm having problems with my internet speed, I'm on M500 but each day the speed drops to about 5 and I have to reboot the super hub 4. This sorts the problem, but anybody know why or how to f...

Same again today, speed down to around 5mb restarted router and back to over 500.

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear you've been having some trouble with your broadband speeds. To clarify, is it your download speeds you're having trouble with?

I've had a look at your specs and everything does appear to be normal. Your downstream channels are slightly on the low side, but only just and shouldn't really be causing any problems. Your BQM also looks great - no signs of issue from there.

You mentioned you're struggling to access 192.168.001.1, is it the Hub page you're trying to access? If so, please note that it is 192.168.0.1 😊

What sorts of speeds are you receiving over a wired and wireless connection?

    I've had to restart hub4 again today.

    I'm in modem mode and cannot access hub4 via 192.168.100.1

    The speed on WiFi is around 5mb before I restart, I'll have to check wired

      And just for info, this was happening in router mode too. I put it in modem mode to see if it solved the issue.

        Hi tonytheblue,

        There are two addresses that you'd be able to use to access the router settings, each one dependent on the mode your Hub is in at that time. 

        You would enter 192.168.100.1 into the address bar if you're in Modem Mode, but if you're in Router Mode then you'd enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar, as we also detail here.
         

        We can see that you've mentioned that the Modem Mode number when entered does not work for you unfortunately, but there's been no mention of the Router Mode number being attempted whilst in Router Mode. As such, can you please try to access it via Router Mode and with the number above for Router Mode and let us know how you get on?
