When its in modem mode work the WIFI will not work.
I've had a look at your account and I can't see any major issues.
Seriously Matthew! have you actually read the content of my post?

As this is third party equipment, unfortunately we're limited with what information and support we can provide.
Just to clarify, having followed the advice of the community, are you still having issues with it working via modem mode?
Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.

It will work in Router mode but not in modem mode,
thankfully, having the option to disable all wifi broadcast in router mode has given me a work around so Im happy to leave use it as it is now, just strange how it wouldn't talk when placed in modem mode (which is the whole point of it)
cheers

Hi,
I recently changed to Virgin 1gig and bought the Tenda Nova MX21 Pro as well.
Spent hours trying to sort it using this post and the link of the other post above.
First few times it didn't work after following Tudor's exact steps. Then decided to try something different.
Tenda is switched on with Ethernet already in it (red light should flashing as the other end is not connected yet).
Connect a laptop via Ethernet to port of the hub 5. Remove all other Ethernets from the hub.
Go to 192.168.0.1 and change the setting to Modem mode.
Save the changes. The hub will reboot, make sure you still connect via the ethernet.
Once the hub is reboot, you will see a solid green light. go 192.168.100.1 and see if it's all ok.
Open another website and see if can surf the web.
Once that is ok, disconnect the laptop ethernet from the hub.
Connect the Tenda ethernet to the hub, leave it for a few minutes, red light will carry on flashing on the Tenda (at least it did for me).
At this point I then switched the hub (the on/off switch at the back of it) off (just for 2/3 seconds and not minutes) and back on.
Wait for a bit, then the Tenda light went green. It all worked fine.
Hope this helps.
I usually don't put posts, this being my first, and seeing how frustrating this was I thought I put how I got mine working.
