High Pre RS Errors, is this ok?

I'm concerned about the number of Pre-RS Errors I'm seeing on my modem. I rebooted the device and allowed it to run for slightly more than a day.  Could you please advise whether the current error rate is within acceptable limits?

      Hi samosa

Welcome back to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of your concerns with your service. Checking the systems on our side, we can also see that your power levels are not in specification. This will need an engineer to attend to investigate further.

You probably need a technician’s visit to correct the circuit problem.

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.

VM will not dispatch any technicians while an area fault exists.

      If no area faults found:

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post. This board is not a fault reporting system.

Please post all the stats.  However that power of 13.2 is too high and will need correction by VM.  PreRS errrors are corrected so not an issue, it’s the PostRS errors that need to be zero or very close to.  As an aside any Hub 3.1 stats I’ve seen all seem to report extremely high PreRS errors so I don’t think it’s of any consequence.
