Customer Services - response time

Whats happened to customer services? They take ages to respond, then talk to others whilst they are supposed to be dealing with you. then proceed to be as unhelpful as possible. You couldn't make it up. Insisted it was my fault and then i did another check and it turns out the fault is with Virgin Media. But aparently wont investigate for 24 hrs even though its an area thing. Utter rubbish services as usual
