Speed drops in afternoon

Every day around 3pm my usually fast internet 100mb+ drops to sub 10mb, sometimes even 1mb.

It is interrupting my ability to work from home and well below the speeds advertised to me.

It happens via WiFi and ethernet, across all devices.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks

  • I've had to switch it to modem mode to use another router because the Hub doesn't even cover our small terraced house. The issue is present with and without the separate router.

During the good times of day the WiFi is significantly faster with the separate router although during that 3pm period it doesn't make a difference.

    Thanks

  • Hi williamblah

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. Apologies for any speed issues. We've ran a diagnostic for you and no issues or area outages are showing. It does however show the Hub in Modem Mode. Please can you pop it in Router Mode, let us know and we'll then run further tests.

You need to setup a BQM to record your incoming circuit.  This will show if the problem is external to your install.  Once done post a link to your "shared graph" and we can comment.
