Hi,
It is not affecting everyone using VM in the Trust.
It is still an issue for me, currently also now have no Wi-Fi in the house so have an engineer coming out today.
Hello elbee8_1,
Thank you for the update regarding the technician appointment.
Can we please ask how the visit went and were we able fix the VPN issue?

Hi,
No unfortunately not, he was fantastic though and tried to help.
Myself and another NHS Trust have shared information and have found a fix for now.

Hi there,
Could you possibly share your fix? I'm experiencing the same issues.
Any help would be amazing!
Thank you,
Tom

Hello,
I had to log in to the router and do something to the DMV (demilitarised zone). The IT manager from my neighbouring NHS talked me through it. I had to give the DMV my laptop IP or network ID from memory. I actually ditched Virgin and moved to BT after due to costs.

Hello,
Thank you for the info! Has your trust laptop connected fine to BT?

Hi,
Yes it seems to be fine with BT. Are you also NHS?

Hey Lois,
No, but my girlfriend is and we've just had Virgin installed, but I think we will move to BT.
Thank you for your help, really appreciate it!

Hi Tom,
Which Trust? I work in Procurement for both Bristol Trusts and Bath NHS helped me. We believe it’s something to do with the security some Trusts use. There may be others in your girlfriends Trust having issues, Bristol and Bath had discussed meeting together with Virgin to discuss, they’d likely discuss with your GFs Trust too.

Hi Elbee,
I'm implementing AOVPN at a Trust in Birmingham and we have the same issue with VM users. Can you send any information on how you resolved this for users?

Hi Lois,
Please could you share the details of who from Bristol or Bath NHS trust managed to help you? My wife works for NBT and is experiencing the same problems as you but local IT have just said “buy a new router” which doesn’t sound like the fix that worked for you. Any help gratefully received. Thanks, Matt

Hi,
I spoke to user Cidersam on here who works in Bath. I’m also NBT. Ask her to call ext. 42671 I’ll see if I can help.
