Red light on hub

I have a Hub 3 and theres a solid red light on it, its been red for weeks, done everything the Bot told me to do, its not really hot, its well ventilated, internet is intermitent, my hubby is currently going through chemo, so I need the internet to work properly to be able to email his nurses, Please can someone help with information, do I need a new hub????? Cheers

    If the red LED persists after a pinhole reset, the Hub should be swapped out. This red LED is the overheat warning and should be working correctly. If you wait here a couple of days a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss directly with you.

    However the red LED should not affect the broadband circuit.  That would be a different matter for VM to resolve and fix.

        Sorry to see that you're Hub is still showing this after checking the steps we'd usually advise. As this is the case it would be best for us to have an engineer arranged to have a check over the Hub. I'll pop you a PM to confirm your details.
