Prepull nightmare

Hi Virgin Media,

Over three months ago (28th Jan), I placed an order for installation of Virgin Media service with the expectation that it would be completed promptly. Despite receiving multiple reassurances and promises of updates, my installation is still pending, with no clear indication of when it will be completed.

This delay has caused considerable disruption to me and my partner. Both of us work from home and rely heavily on stable, high-speed internet to do our jobs effectively.

I’ve reached out multiple times, but I’m still waiting for a clear and firm resolution. Given how much this delay is affecting our daily lives, I’m requesting a specific, firm date for when the service will be activated. If there are further delays, I expect a transparent explanation and a concrete commitment to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Can someone from Virgin Media please provide a response on this matter and let me know when we can finally expect the service to be installed?

with respect - you can hope for whatever you want and ask for clear commitments and information - unfortanatly that will not happen - in short it will be installed when its installed - that might be tomorrow if you believe the script readers that are offshore CS - it might be next week - next month or next yera [ i jest not] and in all that you will get no clear info from VM - you will get promises for which you should think 'guesses' - you will get more excuses than you can shake a stick at and nothing you say or do regardless of what dept you contact will get you anything other than lies - BS or false statements - thets the world of VM install

if you were given an install date you are due £6 a day compensation - VM will do their best to tell you you are not due that and may make you a £20 offer to accept - have non of it

so as said there is nothing you can do and whatever VM says its lies and guessword so you need to put something in place eithere temp or permanent from someone else - if you decide VM should take a running jump dont cancel - take your £6 a day and let them install as and when - then cancel in the 1st 14 days at n- cost - if you cancel the install the will cancel all work so nothing will get done which means you start again in the futere if you decided to try again
