Omni box cover replacement

Hi I am needing a replacement omni box cover which has blown away in the wind leaving all the cables and wires open to the elements. Could I have someone to come out and replace this. Also what is the best way to keep this safe from the wind and rain. Thanks

    Phone Vm. Quickest method, period.

This bit different to my connection so less resistant to weather, just put a plastic bag over it for now. Do that now though.

Hi All 👋 Just returning to this public thread to keep things updated.
Thanks to d0m00jz for PMing ✉ to let me know they secured an appointment and the cover has now been fixed. - Glad to hear it!

Hopefully there's no other issues, but please do let us know if there's anything outstanding you need our support with. Wishing you all the best. 🌞

  • Is there anywhere on the virgin app or website where I can request a callout to fix this as I'm hard of hearing and calling up isn't really an option. Thanks

Hi d0m00jz 👋 Welcome to the community forum! Thanks for posting.

Sorry to see the issue with a missing external cabling cover. I'd like to help get this sorted for you ASAP! I will send you a PM to confirm a few details and help get an engineer booked out to repair it. You can find the PM in your Inbox ✉ in the top right corner of the page.
We can then return to this public thread with another update when possible. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! 🌞

You should get a reply from the VM forum team on here who should be able to make the arrangements for you without phoning.

They usually get to each topic within a few days of the topic being posted.

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Please consider covering the internals as you'll easily lose connectivity from water damage.
