Hub set up- cables

Hi all, 

I have just recieved my self install parcel and trying to set up the hub, however I keep getting the green flashing light. 

I have checked the cables and they are in as far as they will push on, but noticed the cable into the hub doesn't still flush to it, and wanted to check if it is meant to? 

Only using the equipment that came with the box.

    Cable could be disconnected at the omnibox outside, or in the street cabinet.  Either way, its a tech visit to check and fix.

    A Green flashing bar and arrows on a VM Hub 3 means no network signal.

    A fault for VM to fix.
