You are entering a minefield here. There is a very long history of offers being made and accepted, then being different in the resulting contract particularly with one-off charges. Some have found there is a difference between connection charges and activation charges.
If you accept a deal, make sure you get the offer in writing, and check the subsequent billing.
im not even trying to get a deal i just want whats offered on the website and im willing to pay the activation fee for a hub 5, because of this hassle i checked the comparison sites and i can get 1000Mb services for £35 or 1600Mb for £70
i originally contacted livechat rather than the phone line since i can save the transcript
