BT email address

I have a virgin broadband contract but unable to access my online account or use the app as I’ve been advised that my bt openworld email address is not a valid email address. I have been advised to change to a different email but this is also not possible. Anyone advise if you have been told the same and how it was resolved. I’m not receiving any emails from Virgin Media.

    Thank you for that nugget of information. The problem is I can’t change it, so I can’t access any of my details

    I don’t know if this fits your problem, but I know VM do not accept email address that have a - sign/dash in them, even though it’s a valid address.

    It doesn’t say anything, I haven’t received any emails from you guys apart from the delivery. I am not receiving the reset passcode emails. And now I find out I have parental controls on when my and my house mate are adults. I can’t change anything because I can’t access my account

    Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with setting up your online account at the moment.

    Does the system just say that your email address is invalid or does it give a reason that its invalid?
