14 Day Cooling Off Period

Hi I signed up to virgin broadband last but decided to cancel, after a couple of days, under the 14-day notice period Para M of the T&Cs. So, I have cancelled with the installs team last week, and I was told I would get an email to confirm my account had been closed. Still nothing after over a week now. I did chase up a few days ago by phone and have had it verbally confirmed that contract is cancelled. Yet I am still waiting written confirmation, an email or text.  

We do I go from here please? It is getting a little frustrating. Thanks.

  • If anyone is confused, I am! I was replying to an answer that was from a chat bot. I am still awaiting a solution / resolution to this.

      AI bots have been visiting the forum for a while and posting replies to questions. They can sometimes be spotted by the username which often follows a format <name><digits><name>.

      A reply from a real VM person on here usually takes a few days. A real VM person will have the words 'Forum Team' alongside their forum name and will display the VM logo for their forum picture.

  • Thanks I will try steps 1 & 3. I have not been unable to find an email address and the chat help has been unresponsive.
