Where to watch the best of the sporting action this weekend.
Football - Premier League
Let the feast of football commence. The Premier League enters its busiest period of the season and with nine rounds taking place between now and early January, the league table could look very different by then. There’s 7 (seven) games live across Virgin TV this weekend, including a double header on Saturday evening as Everton, buoyed by their impressive win at Old Trafford on Monday, host Newcastle followed by Tottenham against Fulham.
That whets the appetite for a mammoth Sunday, which begins at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace welcome a Manchester United who haven’t scored in their last four league games against the Eagles. No sooner has that game ended then you can take your pick of a Midlands derby between Aston Villa and Wolves, a resurgent Nottingham Forest against Brighton or a Liverpool side on their worst run of form in 70 years at improving West Ham.
Perhaps the best is saved for last as the top two do battle at Stamford Bridge. Arsenal lead Chelsea by six points at the top of the table and will be keen to continue their momentum towards a first Premier League title since 2004. Chelsea will want the gap down to three points by the end of the weekend.

Formula One- Qatar Grand Prix
After crossing the line second in Las Vegas, it looked like nothing was going to stop Lando Norris from becoming World Champion. But the post-race disqualification of both McLaren cars was a huge bombshell and has added extra intrigue to the final two rounds of the season.
The good news for Norris is that it is still very much in his hands. With a 24-point lead over teammate Oscar Piastri and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, the permutation is that if he can score 2 more points than both of his rivals across the whole weekend (this is the final sprint race weekend of the year), he will be crowned World Champion. Can Norris complete the job in Qatar, or are we heading to a final showdown in Abu Dhabi?
