Planning to call us from a withheld number?

From January, you'll need to call us from a phone that shows your number so we can get you to the right place.

If you have a security setting on your phone that automatically withholds or makes your number private, you'll need to make sure that you have your account number and reference ID to hand before you call.  You’ll find these on any bill or letter that we've sent you, as well as in our app.

    But what if we don't phone from a VM phone? That won't identify us.

    Seems like you're just after data gathering like everyone else.

    If you're calling from a number that's linked to your VM account, the IVR picks that up. If not, it should just ask you to key in your VM landline or account number at the outset.
