You may have experienced intermittent WiFi connectivity on your Apple iPad or iPhone lately.

We’re aware of an issue where an Apple device may lose WiFi connection to our SuperHub 2. This has only occurred since the latest Apple iOS update.

Downloading the latest Apple software - iOS 12 - fixes this connectivity issue.

You can update your Apple device by going to Settings > General > Software Update and then following the on-screen instructions.

  • Slight amendment to previous reply: the password to sign in to change your Hub settings is the Settings Password, found on the label on the Hub itself. When you sign in the website will suggest you change the password immediately but you can Skip this, if you would rather keep the original password, as printed on the Hub.

  • Having spent weeks trying to resolve the “weak security message” in iOS, through customer services tech support (still waiting for call back), elsewhere in the community forum I found this: type 192.168.0.1 into your browser, create a sign in account, with password, (different to your usual VM account), then make these changes to your Hub settings Advanced Settings-Wireless-Security. Under 2.4 GHz and 5GHz Security Settings, you will find a drop down menu. Change the setting to WPA2-PSK (changing it for 2.4 GHz should be replicated automatically for 5 GHz), go to the bottom of page and select Apply Settings to save. This should get rid of the iOS message. You can now make any changes to your Hub settings that you wish and view all your connected devices. Good luck 🤯

Exasperated, have tried for days with all the suggested fixes to connect my iPhone 6s to my house wifi. Have tried resets of hub3 and phone - Have changed to 2.4. My apple mac connects with no issues. Any suggestions or shall I ask for a replacement hub.
