The Evil Dead franchise has been resurrected and it has landed exclusively on Virgin Media! That means only Virgin Media customers can watch Bruce Campbell’s bulldozer chin and chainsaw hand make a comeback, and we are very excited.

Whether you’re already a fan of this cult favourite, are partial to hilarious horror comedies or simply on the lookout for a new show to get stuck into, you won’t want to miss this Virgin exclusive. And what’s more, you’ll have supreme bragging rights among your mates as Ash Vs Evil Dead isn’t available to watch anywhere else in the UK!

How can I catch it?

The only place you’re able to watch this awesome new horror comedy series is exclusively with Virgin Media in TV On Demand, and it is free and available to everyone in More TV and above and in HD to TV XL subscribers. The first five episodes are now available to watch, and a new episode will be released each week, bringing the series in-line with the US broadcast air dates.

  • I've tried to watch most of the Ash vs Evil Dead episodes and while the picture is nice in HD, what have you done with the sound? The compression/limiter system is working overtime and I cant hear any sentence finish properly at all. Every time something dramatic happens in the story, the volume drops so much I have to sit there with the remote control turning the volume up and down.

I know programmes can be recorded at different volumes but please, find a happy medium with this one. It has totally spoilt it when I was really looking forward to seeing this programme.

Come on Virgin, you can do a lot better than this. No wonder Sky has the upper hand.

Hey Main3, Glad the pictures looking good and we'd love to help with the sound. If you head over here and post the details of your audio settings, the team will look into it. Some customers seem to have found this issue resolved so hopefully you'll enjoy glorious audio shortly.

  • I have watched all the current episodes and I am a little gutted, The writers need to be putting a bit more comedy in the series, there are some brilliant comedy scenes but not enough, Ash is a brill comedian, his performance is awesome, the series is just lacking the punch of the movies, Happy to say that it is a good start to the series just hope as with most tv programmes the series gets better over time, I'm looking forward to the next episodes but hoping that the producers give the series a better lengh as a the moment episodes are a little short, hope to see loads more seasons, the one thing that is a little bit off track is how can Ash be in the present as he slept too long and was stranded far into the future. How did he get back to the present?, shouldn't the series be a continuation of the movies, I know it is easier to start from the present but to many of us fans think it's a bit of a shame.
