cant get my laptop to connect to my wireless router

HI could anyone help me i'm having problems connecting my new laptop with windows 7  to my belkin n wireless router works with the earthnet cable in but wont connect wirelessly,I've followed all the instructions in the set up exe, put in the pin no. And it just keeps saying cannot connect. Also put in network key still says cant connect. I know my router is OK because my other laptop is working.Am I doing something wrong or I was wandering if windows 7 is not compatible with my router

do you know what wifi adaptor or card your laptop uses. If it is an Atheros device you might find that installing the latest driver helps. You can't rely on WIndows driver update to do this, you will need to track down the correct driver at www.atheros.cz

Don't be put off by the 'foreign' looking nature of the site (it is foreign, after all ), but of course satisfy yourself as to the safety of anything you install.

Hi not sure if belkin still offer this but they used to offer free support for there product including a free phone number have a look on your box.

How did you get on? Even if it isnt an Atheros card it is worth making sure the drivers are up to date
