The connection has timed out (Problem)

The past few days i have had alot of trouble with a very annoying problem "The connection has timed out" This only happens on 1 webpage i used to use this site every day but now it wont let me connect to it this happens on my Desktop, Laptop ,Iphone whilst all connected to my virgin media broadband (wireless). I have tryed resettingmy modem and also using a wired connection. I can access this website using a proxy server, So thats how i discovered the problem was down to virgin and not my computer are hardware. Help would be appreciated, Any questions feel free to ask

yeah looks like a possible routing problem can you pot the webspace, and a possible traceroute test to the site.

firstly, Thanks for the reply and could you give me instruction's on how do this please i also noticed today that am able to get full access to this site using 3G on my mobile phone  .... (kudo giving)

Could you please post a traceroute from command prompt and post it back here?

The tracroute provided seems to be from a 3rd party website and does not run through the Virgin Media network.

Hi liambamb,

I have also run a traceroute to this website from a testing computer from this end and I can see that the ping time raises after hitting the 10g.openpeering.serverius.com server.

Since it is after this hop that the requests are timing out it would indicate that there is either a fault on the server or that a firewall is blocking the packets.

You will need to get in touch with the administrator of the website so that they can investigate this issue.

I dont understand though because i have been a member on this forum for some time now and never had a problem with accessing it i can access it using a proxy server and using my friends connection and this is the only site i have this problem with i have a access to there admin panel and can see there ban filters and my ip isnt on there so i cant see whats up its had my head done in is it worth ringing VM customer service are can they do nothink about it ?

yes av tried disabling my firewall and this same problem still occurs
