Stuck on Identifying.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help. I have a virgin media superhub and broadband. Yesterday I got a new laptop and tried to connect it to the wireless but I'm getting local access only. The laptop connects to the hub but won't open webpages etc. It works fine when connected by ethernet but won't have the wireless. There is another laptop and a ps3 in the house that connect fine to the wireless. Can anybody give me any advice on how to get the new laptop to have full access to the internet? Thanks in advance

If you go into the settings for your wireless adaptor, check if the ip address is set to obtain automatically.

That wasn't the problem but my boyfriend has fixed it for me, thankyou

Did he say what the problem was? It is always nice to put an answer to a question in case someone has the same problem in the future and then can refer to this post.
