Right,
So i have a HP Laptop with Windows 7 an it constantly has no Internet connection despite being correctly connected to the router. It has a full signal but there is always a little yellow triangle with an exclamation (!) mark inside saying no Internet access. My other laptop works on wireless along with my Ipad, and my xbox 360 is connected via Ethernet (coz i have problems with ea wirelessly) and that works perfectly too. It is just this laptop. I brought the laptop in about march and it has an appropriate adapter (i believe) as it is a Atheros AR9485 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter. It might be worth adding that it goes through periods in which it works fine but then will suddenly go off and not work for long periods.
The Internet i am using is/was 30mb, but with all these upgrades not sure if its that or more. I have problem with multiple browsers as thought that may effect it.
The message that comes up on the browser is; DNS look-up failed
I follow those instructions that it suggest and it has no effect on the problem.
This may be another issue altogether or not, but my TIVO box quite often has network issues which means on occasion i have trouble viewing things on demand.
