Hello Andrea!
Check on the side of your Superhub (assuming you have one) as the information will be there. Either that or I believe it would be inside the booklet that you should have been given if you have an older modem.

How do I connect an iPad to my Super Hub's wireless network?
So you’ve got yourself an iPad and want to know how to connect it to your Super Hub’s superfast wireless Internet connection?
If your Super Hub is new, you need to set it up first. Just check How do I set up the Virgin Media Super Hub?
1. From the iPad's homescreen, tap Settings.
2. In the Settings screen, tap Wi-Fi.
3. Check that your iPad’s Wi-Fi slider is set to ON.
You'll see a list of wireless networks near you. Your Super Hub’s SSID and wireless Passphrase are printed on the back of your Super Hub.

4. Find your Super Hub’s wireless network name (SSID) in the list and tap it.
5. On the Enter Password screen, enter your Super Hub’s Passphrase and tap the Join button.
That’s it! You’re ready to use your Super Hub’s superfast wireless Internet connection.
If you’re having trouble connecting to your Super Hub’s wireless network, check Troubleshooting the Virgin Media Super Hub.

Hi Andrea
The depending on which router you have the advice may vary.
Assuming you have a Superhub combined modem router if you look at the back you should see a sticker with the information you need. The password is down on the sticker as Wireless passphrase.
If you have a different router let us know and I will advise further.
