From now on, you'll need to use your new username to sign in to My Virgin Media.

P.S. We don't pick up emails from this mailbox, so please don't reply to this email address. If you'd like to get in touch, you'll find all the details at virginmedia.com/contact instead."
As you can see...I can't "CONFIRM MY USERNAME" as there is no link to click...??
I can log in with both email address now but i can't confirm the new one in any way shape or form!
What sort of system does this...really???
I try every single possible route of getting around this and i'm sent round in circles with
"check your inbox, click confirm, sign in, you haven't confirmed, send again?, your username isn't confirmed"
I've never known such an inconsistent, dreadfully designed method of simply changing an email address to access some webspace...

Hi
If you can log in to my Virginmedia with your new email address then that address will be valid.
As far as I am aware you did not need to change your primary username just to set up webspace but you do need to set up an additional user for it in the form <webspacename>@virginmedia.com
You can see what names are active on your account by logging in to my.virginmedia.com
