Another can't upload using ftp to upload.ntlworld.com 550 error

Sorry if I have cross posted. I first added this to a similar thread but advised to start a new thread as I had posted to a solved thread.

HELP

Although I can see my webspace on ftp I cannot upload files. 

I have not used the webspace for some time.

When I try to upload I get a 550 denied error

Would you please reset my permissions on webspace  msboscombe   ntlworld.com

This issue is still being investigated by our support team.

The SLA for tickets raised to our support team is up to 7 working days.

We will post again once we have an update.

It appears to be working again now  (although I haven't been notified yet) 

thanks anyway for sorting it out. It would be nice if you advised what the problem was, to help others with the same problem.

 Our IT team have reported it as working now. The fault is server side so users can only inform us of the fault so we can fix it.

Hi,

I'm  having exactly the same problem. i.e.  I can connect to the ftp server and have read access but get a 550 error when trying to write or delete files.

Can someone sort this out for me please.
