You either have to call in or use the webchat to request a replacement - which is free, replacements aren't issued via the community. Ring 150 from your VM phone or 0345 454 1111 from any other line, go into the main menu, report a fault (option 2) -> report a TV fault. If it asks to do an automated check first, let it, after it is done it will put you through to an agent. Or use the webchat from a desktop laptop, between 9AM to 5PM: http://www.virginmedia.com/contact/ -> TV -> Help with my remote control -> Chat Online. If it says all agents are busy, reload the page every 3 minutes and check again.
