overpaying on a bundle

I'm paying £42.00 now for easy bundle and broadband and line rental.. which I find ridiculous. There is a deal currently on home page saying exactly what I have got for 14.99 with 17.99 line rental and broadband. Could some one explain why?

Re: overpaying on a bundle

Yep! Its a fixed price introductory offer for new customers (12 months for half price). All the pay TV platforms do offers like this to try poaching customers from eachother (example). After the 12 months, the price reverts to its normal level (£24 + £17.99 = £41.99). The only thing you can do to reduce this as an existing customer is to pay £184 up front for 12 months line rental, which reduces the equivalent monthly cost to £15.33 from £17.99.
