broadband outage

I've been without broadband and TV for 2 days now! I know virgin know what the problem is and engineers are working on it but what IS wrong and will I be compensated for loss of service?

Hi Regvarney,

 

Welcome into the Community, it's great to see a new face Smiley Happy

 

I am sorry that there's been some issues with the services in the home, this isn't the best when it happens. I would like to help and have been testing the connection, everything looks like it's online again. Can you tell me if this is still happening? I checked the TV side and found that the TV guide data is a little out of date, keeping the box on overnight for a few days should sort this.
