Virgin tv

My virgin box isn't getting all the channels mostly just 1-5. However my TiVo box downstairs is working completely fine. Called virgin they told me to reset the box and all channels would be back? Yet I've been trying this all day. Now when I click onto a channel it's telling me ' it seems this smart card is invalid' ???

This is usually a symptom of a box that has been turned off at the mains for a while. Boxes are designed to be left in standby 24/7.

You will need to give customer services a call & get the card re-activated
