Re: Virgin cable not long enough

Virgin uses specialised cable that cannot be bought over the counter. Its also against their T & C's to alter the coax cabling. This cabilng forms part of the local network, & any non standard alterations can cause noise ingress that could potentially affect every customer on the local distribution cabinet. You could also affect your own signal levels, & hence the performance of your services.

The cost to have any non fault related changes is £99.

Re: Virgin cable not long enough

No problem at all would i just phone customer service to arrange this? And does the £99 charge go onto my bill or do i pay this upfront?

Re: Virgin cable not long enough

Hi Emma0717

The charge for moving your sockets around would go onto your bill.

I hope this helpsMan Happy
