Our V+ box is not working properly. The record function appears to be working, in that the recordings are listed as being on the box but they cannot be viewed. If an attempt to view is made, the normal screens appear asking you to press Ok to view but when you do nothing happens. The TV stays on the channel that it is on. If STOP is pressed it will come up do you wish to end the recording and ok can be chosen but then the box will not do anything, other than remain on the current channel, until it has been rebooted! Just about to do that for the 2nd time as we attempted to watch a second recording to see if the problem was only with the first one!
Is it the end for our V+ box? We have had it awhile.
the call out was fine. The box has been replaced and seems fine. Can't fault Virgin Media in this respect - no charge for the call out or the replacement box which is not the case for my brother who has Sky!
