V+ box failing to record

Everytime i try and record a programme on my virgin v+ hd box it comes up saying looks like your haveing some trouble with this service (ref2001

2001 is loss of V+ services. This may be an account problem, but also may be a failed HDD in the box. Give customer services a call on 150.
