At precisely 5 past eight most evenings, the TV stops working. The V-Box then scrolls through codes LD30 / LD40 etc then successfully re-starts. Its starting to irritate! - any ideas whats wrong?

Regular rebooting is usually caused either by signal issues or a failing box. Give faults a call, or wait until the forum team here respond.

I'm sorry for the interruption of the box rebooting itself. I'd like ot help check this out for you.
Is this still happening at the moment? I have taken a look at your box remotely and all looks fine from here so far. If you're astill getting these reboots at certain times please let me know.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it is still happening. At 5 past 8 most evenings it shuts itself down and re-boots. Seems to be working OK at other times.

I have taken another look and all seems ok signal wise from here. I would like to arrange for an engineer to call round and check this for you.
