I upgraded to a TV M+ package and have received the emails confirming activation but still have not got access to the channels. I have tried the usual; restarted, turned off and unplugged from the wall, but still nothing.
Online upgrades can take 24 to 48 hours to activate, as the request is sent through to a customer services operator to manually update your account. If you upgrade over the phone the activation is usually instantaneous.
